Yo. I’ve been looking into some semi watertight, storage boxes to throw onto my roof rack. Considering the 108 qt Plano Storage trunk, and have also considered the Front Runner boxes. Anyone have any advice?

Front Runner and Rubbermaid Action Packer, both decently priced. Zarge and Alubox, both pricey.
Size really matters. As in, boxes half the size you're considering will make it tons easier to get on and off your roof rack. Food for thought.

I used them on 2 separate 6-week trips, and they have a lot of pros and a few cons. Pros are they add a ton of storage to a full size roof rack and look cool AF. Cons include they are easy to break if they fall for ANY reason (and they will fall), and they aren’t fully sealed which means you get dust, water, and all kinds of other shit in them at speeds above 30mph.

You might want to repost this on one of the general discussion pages, you will get more traction.

I have a large Pelican Case I bought for dry storage - camping. I never use it. Too big and heavy. So I totally agree, don't go to big.

Another thumbs up for Front Runner Wolf Packs. Size does matter. Boxes that are light enough and manageable when they are full will make life easier.

I have a few Front Runner boxes. I love em. Really good quality, sturdy, and a good size. That being said, Rubbermaid Action Packers have been around as long as I can remember.. they are tried and tried and solid. That would be my suggestions.
