During these times it can be tough to get exercise. Being quarantined can be really hard on our mental health as well. I know all states, and countries have various levels of restrictions that prevent many from even leaving their homes. It is still so important to keep moving.
For me, I am currently working in Michigan State. I am living in my 25' RV. While I have been spending most of my time inside, cabin fever is strong! So, while I continue to practice "social distancing" I felt the need to get out.
I have discovered that the golf course nearby is completely abandoned. So, I rode the golf cart trails.

I live day by day in my 32’ travel trailer with my wife. We are stationary “full timers “ as society calls us. Cabin fever set in long before this virus ever was even a blip on mankind’s radar. I have the need, the desire, the longing to explore... I need the outdoors.
I fill my days working with my hands... build things for my rigs or my trailer to pass the time, to keep my mind active, and to keep myself active. Yesterday I built an antenna for my Ham radio. The day before that I installed my cb in my Bronco and added provisions to hook up my Ham when I become mobile again.

Yup, It's so important to be able to keep the mind busy. I find that applies to when I am out by myself on a trip. If I am stagnant, my mind works against me.

i wish exercise was a problem...i'd LOVE to be a couch potato for just ONE day

after staying busy at the house during our self quarantine the last couple weeks, we now got word that louisiana is instituting a mandatory quarantine starting tomorrow. so now the wife has me hitching the trailer to go get everything i need to build her a big chicken coop. i need this virus to be over so i can get some damn rest...

Good thing spring is here and weather is getting better and warmer for a lot of us in the northern hemisphere as this virus mess descends.

I'm taking advantage of sunny days like today by going on good long walks with my kid and the dog. We go down around Back Cove, a saltwater tidal cove with wildlife and a great walking/bike/jogging trail that goes all the way around. It's a little over four miles to walk down, all the way around, and back. Feel pretty fortunate to have that so close, especially when I am SO used to being out in the willow-wacks and back country so much of the year.

Soon as it warms up just a tad more, I'm going to get my ebike out--looks a lot like your bike, matter of fact--and start back into my Ten Before Eight routine I used to do. That's ten miles on the bike before 0800:

This is a post I made about it last July:

I LOVE my bike and can't wait to get back to using it every day for errands and exercise.

..

Other than that, I'm messing with my van and trailer, clearing shit out and cleaning, restocking, and doing some new panels for the insides of the side and rear doors, planning new side wall storage in the van, and narrowing down what I have in camping adventure storage to just one unit from two. Here's the one I'll keep using, with racks and shelves I built:

My kid cleared a spot in the cellar for working out, since the gym is closed, so I might start using that a bit, too.

Mostly though, I have no dearth of outdoor and projects and stuff to keep me busy and active as I want to be!

Cool, I am glad to hear of others staying busy.

My bike is a Trek Farley 5. Not an ebike, but have been looking at kits to adapt it.

I wish I were home, I have so many half finished projects.

I live on the ridge top above Half Moon Bay in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's pretty rural and in the redwoods with extremely good air quality. I've been escaping cabin fever by riding my mountain bike on the local trails and surfing a secluded cove at the bottom of our little mountain. Still miss seeing all my family, friends and employees.

Sounds like a vacation. You in a dry suit, or like a 4/4 with booties and gloves?

Here's a great piece on relieving anxiety and stress, in these weird times of feeling over-informed and worried about our families, ourselves, and our communities.

It has already helped several people I know:

and nine great ways to address stress and anxiety around the virus scare.

I assume you are not working in support of the housing construction exemption in the six Bay Area counties. The complete shut down of businesses is pretty crazy from the financial side. Stay safe bud.

I'm lucky in that I have several MTN bike trails and a paved bike path leading out from my house. I'm trying to get out for a ride at least once a week (I usually ride 3-5 days a week), but also trying to do it as safely as possible. I'm retired, so I can go out for a ride anytime. I'm limiting my MTN bike rides to the easiest/safest trails and I'm taking it slow. Same for my road bike: I'm not pushing it and I'm going out during the time of day most people won't be out during the week. The last thing I want to do is have something happen and need help, but it sure feels good to just get out for some exercise & fresh air. I am however, trying to stay home as much as possible so I'm riding my road bike on my trainer/rollers in the living room while watching the news. I've also set some "targets" out in my back yard and have been practicing my fly casting, which will hopefully be put to good use soon...
