This is going to serve as a catch all information and report thread for the South Carolina Sand Hills. Please feel free to add your experiences recommendations and guides.
The Sandhills of North Eastern South Carolina are a unique geological feature made up of Long Leaf Pine forests on rolling hills of sand left over from the last ice age. The area is covered in limited maintenance dirt and paved back country roads. Off those roads are miles of hiking trails, water access for kayaks and canoes, camping sports, and amazing views just begging to be explored.
