Ok yes, went up to lower section of Corral Hollow. Silly me, it's winter time. It was all snowed in and blocked by snow, with kids play at the trail head. Went down to lower elevation to Black Spring road instead, and went in as far as I wanted to go into the snow, still pretty nice. Can't wait til spring.

This is am epic photo!

Man, I would have warned you but for some reason I did not get this post until now! I'm imaging you still had a great time regardless. I love your rig. I am making a snow trip the second weekend in February to either Sequoia or Lake Alpine area. I have not traveled Black Spring, but may check it out.

Cheers!

Black spring road should be an easy trail in the summer. With the snow, there's a bit of winter wonderland feel to it during the day time.

Look forward to your next write up, and good luck on the birf job.
