Took my rig up to SNF and found a spot to camp. Storm dumped over night but made for a great next morning!

Nice set up! I like the “rooftop tent” mounted on the truck bed. Smart.

I have KB Voodoo bed rails which have brackets designed to go around tonneau covers, so it’s the best of both worlds. Also when not mounted on the roof it doesn’t make any additional noise as it’s out of the main airflow

Great pictures! What area were you in? I know some really good spots out of Longbarn.

Up a little further than Longbarn by the gravel pit and Jenness Park. So many roads weren’t passable as the plows could barely keep up with 108

Hi @PapaDave . How are the KB Voodoo rails working out for you? I bought mine several months ago, and when removing my RTT, the back bar bent. I coordinated back with KB and they sent me a new one for free. Are you seeing any bending in your rails? And has it held up to the weight of your camping trips? I'm hoping my situation was a one-time-thing.

I have not had it bend, but I am pretty mindful to lift straight off the rails. So far I’ve really enjoyed them and the versatility they offer. I set them up to carry 2 bikes, one on each side of the tent.

Are you lifting the RTT off the track with a hoist then? Or just multiple people?

I’ve been sliding it to the side of the truck, not off the rear.

I have a Browning O degree bag that I used and I was warm, it was 22 degrees or so, and the tent was covered in snow which helped. It was just me, no heaters, and a lot of layers.

I know where that is, must have been really cool to wake up to all that snow. Really cool pictures.
