I think there may be less than 20 of us from those 3 areas but just wondering if any of you have any interest in meeting up and camping out somewhere in the middle?

Northern Ut. here. If you have something upcoming, I'm game. I was up in your area last summer did more of hwy miles than trail miles. I know that we still have too much snow here, most of the forest roads will be blocked off till mid June or July.

Hey there, I have lots of friends down in Logan and a bunch from Logan that live here now too. Nothing planned just yet. Mostly trying to see if there was any interest. I probably should've included northern Utah too. It would be great to get together and meet some fellow OB members. If a few more folks are down I'll try and put a more formal plan together.

Around here, there's not much in the way of multi day trips unless you include those hwy miles. Between Teton Valley & Swan Valley, ID and Jackson Hole, WY there are several great spots w/dispersed camping that get you off the pavement by an hour or two. In the last couple weeks we've done some overnights up the Gros Ventre Rd on the east side of Grand Teton Park and also up the Greys River Rd near Alpine, WY. We've also tried to make it up some of the forest roads on the west side of the Tetons but those all still have a lot of snow once you get to 7500' or so. It'll probably be a few more weeks before those are all clear.

We're actually heading down to southern Utah next week. We'll be down that way for a couple weeks, mostly around Hurricane, Escalante, and Capitol Reef.

After we get back, a few of us from around here are planning a weekend trip up by Cliff and Wade lakes just into Montana.

Even if I can't get a larger group set up, you're more than welcome to join us anytime!

I just moved to the area and am just getting into it. If you’re up to going with a novice I’m in Idaho Falls

For sure! If you ever feel like coming up to Teton Valley let me know. Last summer we spent a lot of weekends camping in and around the Caribou-Targhee NF near the SW corner of Yellowstone which was awesome. I'm still hoping to round up some folks for a get together this coming summer too.

I just joined today. I spend my summers in the Jackson hole area.
Awesome! It shouldn't be too hard to get a meetup or overnight put together for this summer even if it's just a handful of us.. Let's keep in touch as we get closer to spring.
