I love wagons… but I’m kind of biased, my first 4x4 was a 1960 Wagon L-226 super hurricane.

Drove one with that 6 in it. Got the job done to be sure. This one had the chevy small block conversion. Plasma cutter seemed to make it fall out tho.
For as much grief as I'll get for it, a 6.2 diesel found its way in and I found a complete banks turbo kit minus the exhaust for 500. Not sure I'll put it on but I have it.
Goal here isn't speed or raw power (I've got a Cummings for that) here the goal is decent mpg and a common fuel source. Mechanical injection will also allow alternative diesel fuel conversions too.
