Protector II
We regret to inform folks that we recently lost a longtime friend of Overland Bound. Rex Drake @Sparksalot was a wonderful contributor and citizen of these forums and he will be greatly missed.
He was an avid camper and outdoorsman and then overlanding caught his eye back in 2019. A friend of his mentioned the tear drop trailer he towed was completely built by his own hands when his daughter was younger so they could explore the outdoors together. He documented his vehicle buildout and thought process in his own build thread and all you have to do is read a few posts to understand the time and passion he put into his work.

Not only 2WD, but with a twist. My overlanding rig was a highway patrol interceptor in is former life. It’s complete with a police suspension, including a 3 inch drop, a G80 rear locker, and speed rated tires. It’s fun on and off road. So far, I’ve done several tours through the Texas hill...
Our condolences to his family and friends.
