Needing some advice on what to do next for my 06 Jeep Commander.

I only have a 2.5” lift and new tires.

Wanting to do some over night trips in the near future but probably need some advice on this.

Have roughly $1500 at the moment

RTT
Body armor
Recovery gear/communications
Front/rear bumper

I would keep banking your cash and take a seat in the back with a note pad. Start brainstorming how you want your vehicle equipped and how you want to use it. Once you get this done for yourself, you'll know where to spend your money. Get out into adventures to find out what you need and don't need.

Recovery gear/communications would be the top of my list. If you are going solo then a Hi-Lift with winch kit would be a good investment and it's cheap.
Buy a cheap ground tent and use it a few times, you can finance a lot of weekend trips for the cost of a RTT.

If you RON then you need a basic kitchen, stove, coffee pot, water storage, sleeping bag and mat.
