We LOVE it. You don’t really realize all the benefits till you have one. My wife likes not having to rush home from the grocery stores when it’s 115 degrees out. We both enjoy not having soggy food from melting ice while on the trails and camping.

Starter battery died while I was at work. Of course if I had the DBS complete it would have been a non-issue.

Got the final piece of the puzzle for the DBS. Have a 5 day camp trip on the east fork of the black river coming up quickly and want to be ready.

Hitting the road for a 4 day trip at 0430. It’s 0044 and i’m wondering if I forgot anything from my load out...

So the trip and primary testof my dual battery system went great! I ran my fridge for 72hrs, charged drone batteries and cell phones and ran it down just below half capacity and was still showing 12.3v. Happy!

Ham Tech license on Oct 15th. Consistently getting 88-100%. Hamstudy.org is absolutely the best!

September included a transmission filter change and a refill. Followed by a second drain and fill. Got to go easy on the older transmissions.

I then replaced the water pump, pulleys and timing belt. All Toyota OEM parts.

Today another drain and fill for the transmission and the addition of the new style magnefine filters.

Yep, Transmission has cooked itself. I guess 400,000 was just too many miles on the poor thing. Got a hookup at AAMCO. I could put one in myself but time, time is the enemy.
