New rig, new solution. With the drop down back door, the kitchen setup on the 100 series Land Cruiser is way better than my other car. I have added a new aluminum surface for easy cleaning. I use the water tank and pump for washing the dishes in a collapsable container.

I got around to building my Snow Peak kitchen drawer a couple of years ago. Here's how it turned out.View attachment 250471

The above is a more recent picture after I fitted 1/2 of a Partner Steel 9-inch kit into the 6-unit IGT. Using the house propane tank up top is much easier in the shoulder seasons because butane will barely boil water on a 28 degree morning.

During the hotter months I drop in Snow Peak Baja burners that use butane.

I like how it turned out. It's a set of 60 inch, 500 lbs.-rated drawer slides that house a 6-unit Snow Peak IGT table. Had to have the windscreen made by a local sheet metal shop AND...had to sacrifice my passenger seat to make room for it.

Nothing easier though. Park the Jeep, pull out the drawer, make lunch, roll in the drawer, drive on!

Edit: I just realized that the seasons in these pictures are backward. They were from year one before I figured out that I needed different stoves during difference seasons.

WHAT RRT IS THAT / AND HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?
It's a BALCO. I bought it used and I'm not sure if they're still available. The quality is decent and it functions well. It's a bit small at with interior dimensions of 4' x 6'6" but it's fine for me and the things I need to carry inside (clothes mainly). It would be a bit tight for 2 people. I've slept in weather down to +2*C with no problems. It has good sized side windows and the ventilation is great.

This is on a Sienna minivan, but still might be some good ideas to steal. To cook we push up the mattress. The former 3rd row seat space houses a 12v fridge, water, and pantry. The drawer has stove, dishpan, and utensils. This photo after I added:

1) Paper towel dispenser that removes
2) Cut the former 1-piece bed platform into two
3) Added a hook for a trash bag
4) Added a small table that wedges in under some angle-iron.boyihk- - 1 (1).jpeg

Sure. That tent was a James Baroud Space. Since it was eight years old (and had seen a lot of use...zippers were giving me trouble), I replaced it this spring with a Baroud Discovery. Pretty much the same tent, but with 1/2 as many gas shocks and locks. The Discovery is much easier to open and close.

I was really close to buying an Alu-Cab tent this spring. In the end, I didn't want to redesign the Propex heating system or electrical setup I have. This new tent went in pretty easily.

Celebrated the birthday up in the woods. Had to set up a bigger kitchen than normal, but pulled off homemade biscuits and gravy hashbrowns the works. Things just taste better when you’re camping.

Here's most of my kit right now. I drive a company truck at work, so I can't have a hard mounted kitchen kit for a lot of my camping time.

The Patagonia bag has all of my utensils, can openers etc, and the REI bag has all of my spices and hot sauces.

I found a cooler backpack at a thrift store that holds my induction hot plate for hotel rooms, as well as my single burner cook partner stove for camping.
