as i'm a big movie fan for the 1968 movie "paint your wagon"...i was wondering if anyone here has done the ride to the movie site?
planning to do next spring/summer for a long weekend.

Sounds like a great ride. When the highcountry melts out next spring, I plan to head up into Owl Creek Pass where the final meadow fight scene in the original True Grit was filmed.

Might have to check that out, since it's (roughly) in my neighborhood. Didn't know that was filmed here. I don't care for musicals, so I've never seen it, but looks like a nice weekend trip.
