Hi Everyone!
New member here. In Northern California (Sacramento River Delta) for the winter, but I’d love to get some trips in!
I drive a 2017 Rokon Ranger (two wheel drive motorcycle) and am hoping to take it on lots of routes. However, my top speed (on road) is 37mph. The machine will go virtually anywhere (it floats also) but I’ve had a bit of trouble hooking up with people to ride with due to the unique pace of this bike. Generally, I simply end up going out alone.
Any members out there like to travel slowly??6503A7E7-1914-4B4D-933B-874D9FEE98DC.jpegFB11EBCA-8EFA-44F4-9BFF-C8CF8B8779A6.jpeg6D9716B2-295E-4520-9620-1E3E0FF8CF19.jpegAD575F7A-EBD6-4933-A48C-B5470417E95C.jpeg0220B66F-B244-4C6D-8067-EE1AD7167EC5.jpegF65424FE-CE16-4EE9-8BB8-1185654FDDFB.jpegC85F3F00-97D2-4B80-BF29-3A1B73E4A0C3.jpeg

Thats a neat moped, how much do they run price wise?
It's a little more than that. 2 Wheel drive, though slow, can climb like a mountain goat. Price between 7 and 8 grand.

I bet its still classified as a moped though. what is the engine size? 50cc 150cc? Its certainly no trailway200 or even a serow xt225 but cool none the less.

Tractor supply has a little mountain goat that would be fine to carry in your trailer, then ride it at camp sites. Their goat only cost $500 and is just as much fun.

Whoa, very cool bike, @Rokon Driver 001. Cool looking, too.

Yeah, I like to travel slowly. I use my electric mountain bike a ton for up to 27mph travel in and out of the woods and backcountry and around town, but I'm betting you get a hell of a lot more range with yours.

I can do about 45-50 miles, so go into town for parts or groceries, use it to haul wood, and am rigging up a trailer to tow my canoe and gear for overnights. That's a really interesting trailer you have.
I also use mine as a scout vehicle for trail nav up ahead, and as rescue vehicle to ride out instead of walking if broke down.

I like that mine is quiet and that I'm able to sneak up on wildlife and just generally be silent when out alone riding. Also love that I can stow it in my van quite easily.

This is Nicer than what they have displayed at my store but this one is first class and under $800. Wish I was younger, I'd kill myself on this one.

208cc Kohler. Bigger than my TW200 but less power lol. Engine is larger than 50cc so not classed as a moped. At least here in Texas.

Ha! Well, the wife is pretty hard core. When we first met less than 2 yrs ago, she had a Jeep Sahara and a Polaris Sportsman 500 ATV...108# redhead sporting all that...200cc ain't nothing! :dizzy: She's definitely wanting one to tote around now and I'll probably give in....redheads ARE crazy! not crazy like making up stories to the cops and getting you put in jail crazy, but crazy like going over a cliff on a 4 wheeler and plummeting to your death crazy....

Thanks for chatting everyone!

Yeah... the Rokon is somewhat misunderstood; it’s difficult to put in a category with any other vehicle.

The Ranger is the new street legal version of the machine. Since 2017, I have put over ten thousand miles on it. I won’t call myself an expert; but, I’m fairly familiar with it, now. It is a truly unique way of seeing the country.

Lol-It’s not for everybody; but, a lot more enjoy it than one might think!

I think it's rad. Considering mountain bikes start at $3500 for anything remotely decent and average price for a good bike is $5500-$7000 the Rocon pricing isn't that bad. :)
