I appreciate the honorable and respectful way in which Michael faced the wrath of Social Media as in this overlandbound_fake. The guy identified himself as a "Gate Keeper" of our trails and recreation areas. I for one feel the Jack Ass was the accuser and not the defender. This guy seems to want to limit access as his comment about so many people using our National resources.

Some people just can not appreciate guidance, respect and responsibility. Much less being part of a group who live it. My Number is my Badge of Honor Respect and Responsibility, it binds us together as an ever growing group and as our numbers grow, so does our power and influence. I am thankful that I can call on any OB Member for guidance and Support as I embark upon trails unknown.
This "_fake" guy says he had to work to get his trail maps, as if technology like Google Earth should be shut down or something. Since people now see all the available areas for recreation, I am thankful there are resources as well as experienced leaders who can guide me so that I can be an asset rather than a liability.
You are a very Good Man Michael and you shouldn't let the tongue of any who speak evil of you cause you to doubt your sincere motives and respectful participation in trying to do things like Overlanding in a Responsible and Respectful manner. Please don't let this guy get you down, because he is not worth it.
This web site and the resources it has to offer are a bargain at what it cost to be a Member and we must remember that "Membership" keeps out the Rif-Raf, the Nay Sayers and the Scum we choose not to be associated with...
Please also do not bind yourself and us with the commercialism of: Off-Road Business Association (ORBA) I fear they would take away some of our freedoms as well as place burdensome restraints upon all Members.
