To the question of whether we need an Ambassador for the UK, sounds like a great idea if that means we can get a bit more coordinated. We should probably get some of these shows we've talked about like Adventure Overland in the forum calendar and organise a meeting point. Maybe the beer tent at a certain time on the Saturday night? ... This is probably a conversation for our region so I will copy it there.

This is why the UK users need to chat about this in more detail going forward as @Roger352 has mentioned,

Lol, Tim - I think the UK could actually fit in some of the Regions in the US - the "Island" is only small in comparison to the behemoth that is the US continent hehe

I suggested a few fliers or something for the Land Rover day earlier this month in Cornwall but nothing came through. There were seveal hundred attendees. Potentially there could have been a handful of new OB members. I looked into having business type cards made but there wasn't enough lead time before the event.

I suspect this would be a task for the Ambassador when they choose one

But it would be a nice idea if members who wanted the template to help advertise and "spread the word"

Might be an idea to shift this thread into its own one as it's kinda hijacked this one (as it's slightly off topic)

Thinking about the commercial aspect of these badges I still feel that a single badge covering the whole of the UK would be the way to go. I would even say that would be the same for every country outside of the US with the possible exception of Canada.
