Recently got mine, 1873!! Put it on my dash as a constant reminder to myself to get outside as often as possible. Also when there's a passenger, they may see it and ask, "Hey what's this?" Allowing me to spread the OB message!

Put mine on the passenger side dash of the FX4.

Hello, and welcome to the community. I'm not sure how it works, but I think if you make a request of a number and it is has not yet been issued it's possible. Otherwise I believe you get the next number available at O.B. Headquarters. I am a new member so please understand I am probably not the best one to answer your question.
