Over landing with a dog

We use greyhounds to hunt coyotes. A CL would use them as a chew toy.

While there are some breeds of yotes that are larger and stronger, they're rarer and even more timid than our regular packs. Stray cats are the largest coyote food around here. Good thing to, otherwise there would be tons of them. I likely wouldn't allow my dog to roam in some far away state, but in Ohio it's no big deal. Even the bears want nothing to do with them.

They must all be well fed enough then maybe? I know that dogs will typically cause coyotes to avoid an area but hungry ones coming in packs are relentless and even cleverly devious

Well fed, and small.

I tossed out some old dog food and a couple coyotes and foxes snuck by. Very shy.
