You either have a brake hub & or not. You can swap it later, but don't be confused. It's a rebuild, not an add on.

The key difference for you is that the center cone / bearing housing in a brake hub sticks out much further than a non brake hub. Looking at photos online, it also appears that the non brake hub has a conical center cone and sticks out a little, just not as much.

I won't rebuttal Timbren because there are too many variables to guess.

For me, it makes sense to have the same wheels, lugs, tires, all around. One size fits all.

Variables like lug size/shape or adapters add to the complexity. I had a 3rd back up adaptor made, just in case.

My philosophy:

If 5 14*1.5 lugs hold my LR wheels on, it'll work just fine attaching LR wheels to the trailer. :-D

If I lose a wheel or hardware, for whatever reason, I want 1 spare to fit anywhere on my set up. I also have two emergency spares that I know will fit my rig even if I have to leave the trailer, I can get to civilization.

Looks great too!

I got extremely lucky that my trailer (built my self from frame) the frame/axle I bought off of Craigslist was already the same bolt pattern as my Jeep XJ. So, a small lift and now I have 31in BFG AT on my Jeep and trailer. I carry one spare. I will say this, it was a challenge to find wheel spacers that has a big enough hub bore to fit over my trailer hubs since I had to run spacers to clear the wider/bigger tires.

What besides 5x100 do your have as a bolt pattern. There are several I can fit to your rig Etrailer is questionable most of the time and I personally don't recommend them. If you want. Use Redneck Trailer Supply. Nationwide distribution network and if you're building it beyond. Their parts list is great

Finally! haha

I ended up running 1.5" Lug Centric spacer and had to buy new lugnuts for the spacer as the ones that came with the trailer we too long and were bumping up against the back of my wheel causing the wheel to wobble. After getting short lug nuts to hold the spacer on it resolved wheel wobble.

Very nice looking set up you have. I was down to three or four choices for a trailer and FSR was one of the top. Good choice.

I know it's been a while since you posted this, but do you know where you got your spacer? I'm having the same issue with my Crosstrek and cannot for the life of me find a 5x4.5 to 5x100 spacer that is 1.5" Did you end up special ordering it?
