So after researching quite a bit , reading positive reviews and taking into consideration the price. I went with the Harbor Freight Roadshock Edge 6 lights with amber lens for my ARB Bumper lights and Roadshock Edge 4 lights also with the amber lens for the hood ditch lights. I must say I am very impressed ! I have the back-lit areas wired up to my DRL's. You can't beat these lights for the money. I have them wired up to my Auxbeam 6 switch controller that I have mounted on a Bulletproof A-Piller mount.

Nice. Could you do me a favor, go to a long road, pop off the yellow covers and take a shot of the lights projecting up the road from the jeep? I want to see how they project down road. I love budget offerings if they work good.

I grabbed some "crappy" offroad lights from Harbor Freight. Unfortunately I have yet to hook them up.

Could you post a play by play how you hooked yours?

I'll try to do that for you but there are quite a few others that have already done this with these lights . Some using actual measuring instruments to Guage the output. Others just lighting up the road as you said. Several YouTube videos. That's part of the reason I went with them. Much better than the old roof rack mounted 50" lightbar I have on my Land Cruiser. I think these look great too with that amber backlight . They are basically like a Baja Design knockoff at a fraction of the costs. Meanwhile I would refer you to the YouTube videos out there. It's easy enough to find.
