I fear I have arrived a tad late to this party, but I’ll take a swing at this anyways in hopes of connecting with some like minded locals. My name is Tony, my Wife Emily and I have a 10 year old daughter Willow and two dogs, Norman and Rose.
We have always loved traveling, taking trips to Florida, Arizona, Illinois, and even Europe. As we have gotten older, our lives have become more and more chaotic and busy and we have less and less time to spend really quality time together. Plus, I have also been looking for adventure. That’s when I discovered overlanding.
Last June, my family and the dogs spent a weekend camping outside Buena vista, CO, while riding trails for the first time. It was a learning experience but we loved it. Then, this last October, we spent three days exploring the Ozark National forest. The tranquility of being out in the woods and seeing things for the first time that some never see has become a new love for us. Plus, we can bring the dogs and enjoy it all together.
