OB members from France ?

Hey everyone, i am new here and from what i saw on the map, we have a few members in France but with very old activity so i guess those guys forgot about this forum. If some of you are still here, please tell me so we can talk, meet, organize help - according to our areas - for other members planning a trip to France, etc...

Robert told me ALNSM was active so i wrote him a message and followed him on instagram and went to check out his youtube channel. No feedback at the moment but i am sure he will reply. I am afraid this is our maximum... It looks like all others have disappeared :/

Just see Mid europe as a family, a bit far away sometimes, but we will for sure manage some nice meet ups this year.

i was able to get in touch with @Chris.n.world who lives only 200km away from home. He will follow #5 roadbook from Vibraction in april, ending his trip in my area so we should meet for some trails and beers very soon. Awesome :)

I am really often in France because of my interest into military fortifications, especially the Maginot line.
Mainly because of this hobby I'm planning a 6-7 days trip to the alps in july with our member Overland_Bubba.
The main route goes from Lyon through the alps to close to Perpignan.

First time planning a trip - French Alps

So this is my first time planning a trip alone somewhere i don't know so any advice is welcome, both on the planning tools and the area. I will travel with my Wife and Daughter (4) in a D3 with roof tent. we have done lots of 4x4 camping at Land Rover shows and other 4x4 events so that side is...

In my planning I tried to avoid the most frequented routes.
My main reason for travelling through the alps are the bunkers of the Maginot line, the views and, of course, the adventure.
We planned to do some wild camping at nice spots during our journey.
