How did you know I was from North Van, though? Do we know each other?

You mentioned growing up there in your story. Certainly a great place to have grown up...formerly a North Van High alumni myself and Cloverly Elementry as well. Made the trek back last summer...did a little kayaking...a whole lot of mtn biking and posted a decent time up the Grouse Grind for an old fella to boot.View attachment 292146

Ahhh, you're hitting me in the feels! It was amazing growing up in North Van. Sutherland Secondary and Eastview were my schools. We had so, so many outdoor adventures growing up. Swimming in a secret swimming hole at the very end of Lynn Canyon, camping out at God's Chair, hiking at Lynn Headwaters, biking the old service road up to the dam...such wonderful memories. Been a long time since I've been there.

Housing prices moved me steadily eastward, to Vancouver, Langley, then Chilliwack, then to Telkwa in Northern BC, and finally to Alberta.

I'll always have very fond memories of growing up on the North Shore, though.
