Geologists are currently exploring the area - there is currently no indication that the area can be reopened. Currently it is an absolute restricted area, not just for vehicles ...

Not withstanding any inconvenience or hazard to occupants and/or residents of the area, the power of the Earth, the natural geologic forces at play, is terrifying and awe inspiring at the same time. When you look at a mountain range and consider the power used to form it, it simply boggles the mind.
