Looks good. What gauge steel did you use on the trailer floor?

Took a little more time than expected but tail light brackets are actually welded on and tail lights wired. I know my weld jobs are horrible but I am new to this all and still learning a lot. I was having trouble with porosity but other than that I'm slowly getting there.

For the lights I tacked ¾" conduit down the middle of the and fed the wires through the conduit in a loom and just crimped all the connectors. I will eventually redo all the connectors and run the wires a little cleaner but for now this work and the lights work.

I did run into one issue. I bolted the box on the trailer. Ran wires from the box to the lights. I was able to get them to work but if you shook the trailer both lights would flicker and want to go out. I know nothing about how trailers wiring works but assume it grounds to the ball. Once I removed the trailer from the truck the lights wouldn't work. I ended up grounding the box to the frame which fixed the issue. Sorry for the mess of wires but just trial and error for me.

Took it for a test drive and check some clearance. 20200523_191510.jpg20200523_205328.jpg20200523_205352.jpg20200523_205400.jpg

Did a little work today. Tacked on my side supports then redid the corner supports so the skin will lay flat. Do you guys think I need to add a support or two up front? Plan is to stich weld 2" tubing on all 4 corners. Run the roof rack off the top and run tubing inside that will drop down for supports.

Your trailer is really taking shape and looking great!
I think you might be inspiring me to do something similar and look forward to seeing the end result...

Thanks for sharing!
Thanks man. I'm really just winging it. Trying to figure everything out as I go.

Haven't had much time for the trailer lately nor have I been keeping this up to date. But did get a little welding done and a lot of grinding. Welded the door frames together and tacked them on the trailer. Now to decide on hinges.
