the new tongue is all done w\exception of the safety chains. A huge difference between the street version of a trailer tongue & one fabricated for offroad. 2" receiver hitch welded in place for the new offroad articulating coupler (Lock n Roll). I went a lot larger dia. tubing. Now clean the metal, run a wire wheel on a grinder to give the automotive epoxy primer a tooth to adhere (2 coats) then 3 coat of automotive base black paint followed by 2 coats of automotive clear gloss. There's a huge difference from the original tongue vs. the new tongue from the other photo's.

Great Build and a lot of good ideas! I'm interested in getting a RangeRunner and I see you redid the front frame, was it only because of the Lock n Roll hitch or where you worried about strength? Do you know why they don't already have a center bar running thru it? thanks

Been away from this forum for quite a few years, I still own my 2019 Runaway Range Runner, & the modifications are just about done. Some one asked how it held up, for 5 yrs now it's been holding up great, no issues. Since my last visit here I took off the left hand side awning & sold it with the awning room & installed Kimberley2Cape 4wd & Adventure Accessories (from Queensland, Australia) swing arm for my Darche Ensuite Shower Room. I had to fabricate a bracket much like the Runaway's Roof Rack bracket, & changed out the swing away spare tire carrier from right hand swing to a left hand swing, added the Rhino Rack Batwing Awning Walls, Condition 1 45" Explores Trunk that hold my awning walls, 8" cast iron dutch oven, 2 set's of 2 Green Elephant 2ft. to 4 ft. Adjustable Poles, redone the interior added 2 windows in the doors, the wife made the curtains & roll down shades.

We've done 3 of the states of the Trans American Trail, explored most of our home state of Arkansas Ozarks & parts of Missouri's Ozarks. Next is Oklahoma going to run some backroads Sugar Creek Loop . We lost our traveling adventure partner (RIP) Sadie Girl our Rat Terrier of 11 1\2 years a month ago, she been with the wife & I with both trailer builds & all of our adventures. I still pull my 2019 Runaway Range Runner with my 2000 GMC 1\2 ton Z71, nothing has changed on it with the exception of having the front & rear differential gearing changed. Still have the same 12000lb winch, still running MasterPull 7 1\16" rope, the same 2" lift just new shocks, still running the same tire Coopers Discovery's AT 3 285 x 75R 16's. My cancer is still in remission after 4 years, the wife & I are just getting older in the mid 60's & still love to explore new areas.

I'm assuming the dual hose box on the front is a diesel heater? It looks like you used 3" RV sewage ports to hook them up. How has that held up? how well does it keep water out while travelling? I'm planning on adding a heater to mine before it starts getting cold again.

it's not a diesel heater, inside that aluminum tool box is Proplex H2000 propane furnace & the 12v. thermostat cable & propane line. The actual 12v. thermostat is mounted inside of the camper cabin right of the ac unit Propex HeatSource HS2000 6,500 BTU Forced Air Propane Heater 12 Volt With Digital Controller

The ports are Climate Rights Teardrop Camper Air Tight Ports Teardrop Trailer AirTight Installation Kit (CR-TEARDROPKIT)

The teardrop ports are water, dustproof & air tight when not in use, the furnace pulls 1'4 amps of power, propane consumption on this furnace is low also.

Nice. I would love to go with a propex, but since we don't live in ours, I can't justify the cost.

Thanks for the link. That's exactly what those ports are, and that gives me a good sense of what's needed to do the same to my trailer.
