Kevin,
I am so excited you joined the crew.

@Denniston79 is my brother. Unfortunately, we live pretty far apart right now, So, I am relying on you local guys to show him around!
Hope to meet up this summer with you!

Stop by your local forest or blm office or download the MVUM (Motor Vehicle Use Map) for your area and look for options listed there for on road travel or highway legal vehicle travel. Most of those are great roads in the woods that most any vehicle can travel but get you off the pavement.

GAIA maps is a great resource as well. You can easily layer MVUMs and public land overlays to get you out to some amazing spots. It’s also nice because you can select the area you want to explore and download that map for offline use before you leave, then reception isn’t a problem. It is a yearly subscription that is $39, but there are usually 10-20% off discount codes if you search around.
Google maps is downloadable for offline use now too.

Welcome to the world of forest road rebels
