New Guy Seattle

Hi Guys,
Brand new to the OB forum and pretty new to Seattle as well.
I'm in the North Seattle area. Hope to hook up with some local people,
make some friends, and do some exploring.
Still have a lot of work to do to her, but... getting closer.
First trip will be later this month.

Welcome to the Overland Bound community and to the area. If you are willing to drive a little, there is a gathering of the Northwest Washington Overland Bound members on August 22, 2018. Depending on where you are in Seattle, it is between 1 :15 and 1:45 drive north of you.

So where were you before coming to Seattle?

Welcome! Great looking truck. I’m sure there’s plenty she can do right now. In addition to the N Puget Sound folks Jefi mentioned above, there have been a couple OB meet ups down here in Seattle & Issaquah. I would also suggest you look into NWOL. They’re also a good group of folks (mainly based on the East side of the cascades but arrange a number of events just over or in the mountains on their side.) Another good resource.

I saw the meeting on FB. However, I have a camp site reserved for the 21,22,23 of this month. Perhaps I can make the next one.
Thought I would take the new rig on it's first trip up near Gold Bar.
I'm orig from L.A.
Before moving to Seattle I was living in Wuhan, China.
I now own a small restaurant downtown near the Space Needle serving Chinese food of course. LOL

Hi Greg. Thanks for reaching out and introducing yourself and Little Blue. I’ve been in Seattle for about 10 years (currently living near UW).
