Hello folks! I’m in Alexandria Va, retired from the Marine Corps last year, and really want to do some overland camping with my boys in the Washington and Jefferson National Forests this fall (Mama’s an indoor girl). I would love to hear from those with experiences in this region.
My vehicle is a 2004 Yukon XL K1500 with a 2” lift, G80 locker, and BFG All-Terrain TA KOs. I’m the original owner. It spent most of its off-highway life on the beaches of NC, but I’m ready to see how she does in the mountains.
