Hey all. I recent installed a new set of LT285/60R20 tires on my 2018 RAM 1500 and I kept the old tires that were the same size but still in good condition. I'd like to buy some spare wheel rims and mount the old tires on there, but i'm not clear if a specific wheel rim will fit. Here is an OEM rim size:

But it states that this is for a 275/60R20 tire. Will this wheel rim still work for a 285 tire? Despite my looking around on the nets i can't find a good answer for this. I'd like to avoid having to spend 1.5-2x for a non-spare wheel rim if i could. Also not sure about how the wheel offset would also come into play. Or should i just shutup and spend the extra money for a non-spare rim because they will be strong or more stable? Thanks all!

As long as the tire rim diameter matches the rim size (20") you can run that rim, especially for a spare. The difference between a 275 and 285 tire is negligible.
