So, the time has come. I've owned my 1999 Jeep TJ for a little over a year now, and like any previous builds, i always like to spend a year thinking about what i specifically want to build my rig for. After many days and changing my mind back and forth, i've decided to build my jeep into a fully capable Overland Vehicle.
Before i go into details on the build, i figured it would be a good idea to tell you why i decided to go this route. I plan on pulling my boat or kayak all across the country and having a vlog style youtube channel of everything i come across while im out and about. It's always been a dream of mine, so i decided now would be the time to bring everything i love to do into an experience i can share with everyone.
So far, im working with this:
-1999 Jeep Tj with 4.0 I6.
-Wore out my Dana 35 so i swapped out an 8.8 and welded an Artec Truss Kit.
-brand new ball joints/steering linkage/steering box/shocks.
-running 285/75/16 Ironman All Country M/T tired.
-Rough Country Stubby front bumper/Smittybilt XRC rear bumper w/tire carrier.
There are so many more things i've learned i've needed so stay tuned and follow my adventures and my build!
