I know it’s a shorter notice, but come have fun on the Moses Lake Sand dunes! It’s fine to come if you are a novice, these dunes aren’t all that intimidating. We will do our best to give good guidance, and you can operate in your comfort zone exploring here. Bring the means to air down and air back up, a shovel, and any recovery gear you have.

We are considering going home by looping north and visiting Douglas Creek, then taking Highway 2 home through the rural farmlands of Reardon and Wilbur. There are photography opportunities at Summer Falls, Highland & Govan Schoolhouses. Attendees are welcome to go with, or just head back on the interstate.

You forgot Creston and Davenport on Highway 2. I do that drive quite often for work. In fact I'm at Reardan right now and will be in Wilbur later this afternoon.

Do you know if Summer falls is running or is it closed off?
