That seems to be the go-to book. There are updates in the website as well, such as closures & detours.

If you think a 2-day drive from Seattle to southern Cal is reasonable, and it probably is, then it's do-able.Stupid question - traveling from Seattle area, could I make this trip (down & back) in a week? It sounds awesome......[emoji106]
You can buy it on amazon but yes that is the book to have. It has all the mile markers and GPS coordinates as well as the historical information. Buy it if you are going!

Thanks!! Definitely keeping this in mind since I think I really like desert travel/camping......If you think a 2-day drive from Seattle to southern Cal is reasonable, and it probably is, then it's do-able.
We will probably finish on a Sunday, although that's not decided yet, so if that fits, all the better.
That book is awesome I have a copy of it and used it when we ran it back in may. It was worth it if anyone wants to borrow it in the Sacramento area hit me up.

There seems to be quite a few where March is going to work out. If you get a crew together for an April tour, there would probably be enough to put a good run together.could we extend the poll to include April? Might need to lead a separate convoy
Enthusiast II
Hey Dan. Where did you post the poll? I can't see it. (I am on Tapatalk however, that may be it, I'll look from a computer in a bit)Watch the first post for updates. I'll post a poll for possible dates next week.
Dan.

To Reno, from ...? (Bellingham?)Its a tentative yes for me! I'm moving to Reno in December so I might be able to swing it depending on school/work!
Yea I grew up in Tahoe/Bay Area and am moving back after I graduate! Mojave has been on my bucket list for the last 3 years so Ill gladly make the 9 hour trek down. My off road experience has pretty much only been logging roads so I would like to go with a group of experienced people who can give me some tips and help if need be.To Reno, from ...? (Bellingham?)
'bout a 9 hour trek from Reno to Needles, you can do it!
No worries, it's all good. Long way off now, hope your plans come together and you can make it!
