I finally got in on one of these! Are there any special tools or equipment I need to bring?

You just need to bring work boots and leather gloves.

We had a very successful Trail Guardian event in the Mojave National Preserve last weekend. October 23, 2021.
80 yards of garbage removed from a historic ranch, 2.2 miles of cable barrier installed to keep vehicles out of the Soda Lake Wilderness area, several illegal two tracks erased, and 50 very tired volunteers.

It was a great day with lots of work getting done for the Mojave Preserve.

Below are some of the pics and videos of everyone in action at the cable pull that my wife captured on her phone. I think this was the most rewarding effort I have been on so far over the past 3 meets because we did something significant that you can see hopefully for many years to come. I lost about 5 lbs. of weight over the weekend too so this was a lot better for me personally as well.
