MI trip advise

Hello,

We are visiting the Hiawatha NF, and Lake Superior from PA.

Anyone has any advice on traveling from Whitefish Point to Hiawatha NF using any backroads/trails.

I see some roads connecting on the map, but any local advise would be welcome.
