Hi all Cam here from Calgary, Alberta Canada
An amateur photographer rediscovering the love of challenging myself and get out to remote areas enjoying the beauty of nature. I come from an all stock 2018 GMC Canyon that got me into some amazing locations for hiking and photography. It has some limitations and rather than trying to build it up to be better suited for the progression in my adventures I have very recently moved to a 2025 Tacoma Trailhunter and am looking forward to seeing what adventures this Tacoma brings to me. I’ve added GMC in the fog and the trailhunter with aurora.

Hello, new to the OB site/community. Not many friends into this lifestyle that I know so as a single father raising 2 daughters and a black lab/blue tick hound wild puppy, the only fun time i have is working on the WJ and not playing with it.

That is a pity so I need some local, like-minded souls to tage along with whenever rides are around the New Jersy area. Preferably Northern NJ and into Southeast PA.

3) Rig (Year - 2004 Grand Cherokee WJ named " El Guapo"

I've never got a 4x4 but I traveled with other vehicules:
- Australia with a Ford Falcon!
- Portugal and spain with a WW LT
- France and Spain with a WW T4 Transformer

I really want to escape the city and do soft overlanding (at the beggening), I have few cars in mind but i need help of some experts!

I am one of the OB Ambassadors in Europe.

Local information for any of the OB regions can be found in the Overland Bound by region forum. Each region has its own sub-forum. Spain, for example, belong to the region Mediterranean. So, this link leads to the Mediterranean subforum. Feel free to introduce yourself to your local area there and connect with the community.

A good local contact for France is @paul87250. Feel free to reach out to him in case of any questions when travelling your neighbor country.

Please take a look at the Rally Points for planned events. There you can filter by region. There are plenty of meetups planned for 2025 for Europe already and more to come. If you like to organize one yourself, feel free to do so.

We also do a virtual campfire once a month, there are always members from many regions of Europe. Next one will be scheduled soon. This is a relaxed online talk about overlanding, trip plans, gear, everyday life and more with like-minded people. Just join us next time if you like.
