I have a South African 2011 78 1HZ Troop Carrier that some of you may have seen before, I have owned it now for 5 years.
A 1996 80 series 1FZFE as my daily driver from Australia
And lastly a project 1979 BJ 40 also from Australia

Hey there, I’m Justin. I’m from Anaheim CA
A year ago my parents gave me their 1993 FJ80 LandCruiser. They’ve had it since 2001 and I grew up with it. I unfortunately was in an accident with it on the freeway (I’m 100% fine) We’re in the process of trying to fix it, but I just had to get another LandCruiser. I now currently have a 1988 FJ62 LandCruiser going through a 5speed swap. I never got to overland or even camp in my FJ80 so I have no experience in Overlanding. I can’t wait to have my FJ62 running so I can finally go camping.

Hello everyone
new member here. I currently am in the process of building my dream overland out of a 95 2 door Tahoe. Just put the new tires and wheels on yesterday and man is it a whole new look. My next addition will be a retractable awning most likely from ARB.
I am based of of AZ

Nice shots of your adventures. It is definitely fun to go solo but it is also equally fun to line up in a row of rigs and tackle a trail with a group. Strangers at the trailhead are often friends when we hit pavement again. I am the Bay Area member rep and I can help connect you to meet ups that are happening near you. In Pleasanton CA there is a meet up on the second Sunday’s of the month and it has a great regular turn out and active. The Tri-Valley (Pleasanton) group has number of plans already laid out for June through November. Our next meet up will be June 14th, HOPEFULLY in person! But the Zoom meetings have been good as well.
