New guy here from Southwest Missouri. I’ve been overlanding for a while, but I’m just now becoming social about it. I drive a RHD Land Rover Defender 110 with a Cummins R2.8. Happy to be aboard. View attachment 134658

Hello, My name is Dave.

Location: Central Pennsylvania
Rigs: 2015 Ram 2500, 2003 Dodge Ram 2500, 99 Dodge Ram 2500, 99 Dodge Ram Van 1500, and a 8? Dodge Aries Station Wagon.

Experience: at camping and offroading, above average...at combining the 2, newbie.

I have been offroading and camping for a long time. Just recently learned(have no idea how I passed over this) that you can get off pavement travel/dispersed camping combined by State Forests in Pa.

My main objective here is to learn, share, and dwell into the community as I explore and Camp in Bald Eagle State Forest.

Thanks for having me

Hello everyone, new member from DFW - Texas area, my project rig is my take on a old school "earth roamer", my rig is a 1991 Chevy V3500. The truck is currently getting different axles but it has a 12V Cummins diesel, GM NV4500 Transmission, BW4401 Trans case, 2008 F550 axles, MRAP wheels with 395 Goodyear MVT tires, and a surplus military maintenance bed. I am a overland Novice but not a novice to off roading.

Greetings!
Region: Northern Colorado
Vehicle: 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia Syncro (4WD)
Experience: Novice
In the past I've owned a Jeep CJ-5 and a Toyota FJ40, so I have some 4-wheeling experience, but would consider myself a novice. This is my third Westfalia, but my first Syncro version. They're a bit hard to find these days, but fantastic for finding those out of the way campsites. I am a semi-retired photographer and video producer. Within the next year or two, I am planning on moving into the van and living the van life full-time, heading to high altitudes in the summer to beat the heat and desert locations in the winter. I hope to learn a bunch from this forum/community. Here are a few pictures of my rig in the wild.

Hey all I am Ezra G and I am a US ex-pat (I still maintain my citizenship) living in Israel for the last 15 years.

I first was introduced to the jeeping and off-roading world through my work (I am an apprentice mechanic) and through my journey of re-self discovery. I am a divorced father with full custody of my two boys and I started off-roading and over landing in my 2010 Subaru Forester (2.0 NA) which I lifted, had wheels and tires and a skid plate fitted. It served me well enough but it is small for my crew (2 boys and 2 dogs). While building my foresterI also started the local chapter of MTNROO and now we have almost 200 active members.

I recently purchased from a client a 2006 pajero GLX (Dakar) with a blown motor and I am completing the engine swap. my new rig is already lifted 2.5 in, full skid plates, BF KO2 tires on stock wheels, a custom roof rack with shower and a few other goodies that Icant wait to try out. really my only task is to swap in the new motor as my shop completed an overhaul on all bushing and mounts in the last year.

I want to continue building this vehicle and I cant wait to finding new inspirations in these pages.

Hey Everyone,

Region: Metro Atlanta
Vehicle: 2000 LX 470
Experience: Novice. I've done some 4-5 mile dirt/gravel mountain roads to our cabin many times, which is what got me interested in overloading. I recently got he LX and will be outfitting it for some trips, but also as a daily driver. Just added some KO2s and the roof rack is next.

Hello, I am from San Antonio Texas, I am a novice in overlanding However I have been an over the road truck driver for 25 years and I have pulled many of RVs including my last one which was a 40 footer bumper pull. Over the years I have owned a few four-wheel-drive trucks and have recently purchased a 2017 F2 50 four-wheel-drive and had four wheel parts wholesalers here locally do a 6 inch Procomp lift with 37 inch neato tires, fab fours bumpers front and rear, with a Smitty built winch. After talking to some guys there at four wheel part wholesalers they turned me onto Overlanding and it sounds like what I’ve always dreamed of doing! I look forward to meeting some of the people here in San Antonio and around Texas. To explain my user name it is based off of my 2014 Ford Taurus sho, hence the no faux SHO. Lol.
