Hello Jacques (@TurboTornadoChaser) welcome from Oklahoma.
I see you are a ham as well. We have a weekly Friday night echolink net, would love to have you join us.
Time : 17:30 hours PT/2030 hours ET
Where : Echolink Node 591550 (USA-GNG) known also as Grits N Gravy, DMR TG 1137550 and Allstar 41130
If you don't have access to an Echolink, DMR, or Allstar repeater don't worry... many of us use the Echolink app anyways.

I am sure you could also contribute to this thread.

Kind of an off the wall question for anyone to answer...Has anyone tried to use the compact co2 inflators used in mountain biking / in an emergency (low or flat tire(s)). I would think having a few of the co2 cartridges would be an easy way to get the tire(s) inflated again. I realize they dont have a large volume...just wondering if anyone has ever tried it as a test in their driveway to see...
If someone is going to use C02 to inflate their tires, they are likely going to carry the larger tanks such as Power Tank Online Store and Blog. For an emergency though that is an interesting idea, space saver too.

Hello Brian (@Warhog1984 ), welcome from Oklahoma.
Goochland kind of caught my eye, I have traced my family back to the mid 1700s to Goochland county.
I really need to go out there and search the county records.
Sorry, nothing to do with overlanding... again welcome to OB.

Hello, I am Brian Jones from Goochland Va (west of Richmond)
My rig is a 2013 Commando Green Jeep Wrangler JKU Rubicon I call WARHOG. It has many different configurations which change threw out the year. With quite a few mods including a RTT. I am into wheeling, camping, kayaking, mountain biking, ATV's, guns and hunting. I joined to hopefully meet some local's who want to take some trips in Virginia.

Hello Kent that's really cool some of your family originated here. After searching my family tree I have found during the civil war times my family had a large farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Va. Also my great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. If you ever make it out this way please let me know I would be more than happy to show you around and can also use my property to camp on if interested..good to meet you!
