Brand new Overlander but I’ve been car camping since I could drive.

I rode an enduro motorcycle to campsites in the 1990’s but my wife prefers to sit next to me; not behind me.

We had a Jeep Cherokee (it replaced the motorcycle), a Dodge Durango and a Chevrolet Silverado Z71. All played in the dirt.

Today it’s a Subaru Outback and my Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road.

If you ever catch me at a campfire ask about driving a Honda Civic the back way to Crested Butte, Colorado.

Hi all. Fairly new to overlanding. Home is in the Northeast Georgia mountains. Daily driver is a 2012 Jeep liberty. Just have one 4x4, a 1951 Willys M38, currently being "cleaned" after spending forty years as a hunting Jeep.

Hi everyone!

My name is Zach and for about a year now I have been watching overlanding videos and reading about it online. 2 months ago I finally saved enough for my dream Colorado ZR2. I hope to begin truly overlanding once I get back from the dessert in October. Right now my ZR2 sits in a storage unit waiting to be actually used.

I live in the Spokane WA area and can't wait to see what it really has to offer.

Welcome! To star with, if you need someone to keep that ZR2 company while your out of town, I can help out with that. Sweet truck.

I don't know what your internet / phone access is, but I host a monthly conference call on the 3rd Sunday of the month here is a link to the Rally Point Inland Northwest Conference Call.
There are also international numbers. The call is at 7:30 PM pacific. We'd love to have you call in if you are able to.

hey everyone!

the names Alec. Ive been camping since i was a toddler and now have discovered this awesome hobby! i currently drive a lifted Ram 1500 that im starting to outfit for overlanding and am super excited to jump head first into this! thanks for the oppertunity to join you guys and learn a bunch of new stuff and explore this awesome world

location: Castaic, CA 91384
Rig: 2015 Ram 1500 Crew cab (still being built up)
overland experience: not MUCH overlanding experience. i have been tent and RV camping ever since i could walk. my girlfriend, myself, and our 3 dogs have been exploring alot more recently in the national parks and found this group from word of mouth so i knew i HAD to join!
our first EXPO with overlanding is coming up and we'll be attending the one in Big Bear June 1-2, 2019 this year and honestly, we cant wait to see all the cool things out there for overlanding!

Hello! Noel here. Me and my wife has started overlanding around 2017 when we got our Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Off Road. I still consider myself novice since I do not get to go out there as much as I want to. The truck has a 3 inch lift with Icon suspension system, BFG KO2 33s, just had a bumper with winch installed recently, the RTT we had since day 1. We also love shooting and has been doing some club level 3-Gun shoots.

We're just glad to have found and finally now a part of this active and growing community. We live in Long Beach, CA and I take the 405 to work every day so I had a lot of downtime stuck in traffic and I have been watching the OB videos all of which I found very inspirational and always make the traffic bearable.

Welcome to Overland Bound, @Jaytperry89! Southern Oregon is an area that is just starting to grow for Overland Bound. I know that @Kent R has been working to get a meetup going there. Beyond that, there are a number of great overlanding events occurring throughout the PNW, so if you are willing to travel a little, then I recommend checking out the Overland Bound NorthWest Region forum [link] for meetups and to get to know your “neighbors”. Events are also posted on the Rally Point system [link], so you might want to check that out as well.
