Just joined the community (been lurking around for a bit).
I live in Northern Arizona.
Currently, I drive a 2018 4runner off road. Its pretty stock right now but I hope to get the funds to upgrade it in the future.
I'm still relatively new to overlanding. My first trip was last summer and I did the Trans American Trail (only from Arizona to West Virginia) hope to get time to go west on it soon.

Hello all!

I'm Emilio. My Jeep is Lucky. A 2004 TJ.

About Lucky:
I've had Lucky since 2007 and put well over 150K miles on it. At 197xxx right now. I just replaced the engine about 5k miles ago. Lucky has a 3.5" short-arm lift kit running 31's (for now), stock 3.07 gearing, 5 speed manual, with a LSD in the rear. Warn 8000lb winch up front with a brush guard and HID aux driving lights. Rock rails and a lot of added armor underneath. Ready for what comes it's way. CB and Ham Radio installed.

About me:
I'm 31, originally from New Hampshire, but have lived in Florida, and now currently in the Bay Area of California. I have a great deal of off-roading experience, wheelin in off-road parks and going on jeep trail rides with clubs, but newish to overlanding. I love just getting out there to enjoy the views and camping with fresh air. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you in person and making great memories. My call sign is KC1GML. Pictures to come.

Edit: I'll be attending Overland Expo West this year. Hope to see some of you there!

Hello Everyone!
I actually joined OB a while ago (got my badge and everything #12027) but I started a new job last year and have not made time to introduce myself yet. I have been stalking the forums for a while though, mostly the vehicle builds, getting ideas for my new rig. Anyway here's a brief getting to know me:

Location - Columbia River Gorge area of the PNW.
Rig - Brand new 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road, still completely stock, named "Lobo".
Experience - New to Overlanding, but have been an outdoor enthusiast most of my life.

Anyway just wanted to say that its great to be here!

HI ALL! My names Brian and I just got back into offroading. I cashed in my midlife-crises points with the wife and she signed off on a 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2. I plan on using it for family camping trips and taking my young kids out to see nature as much as possible. I hope to attend some meets, get some training, and find out my trucks advantages and disadvantages along with my own limitations. I like hunting, fishing, camping, offroading, nature photography wilderness skills, survival equipment, and anything having to deal with the outdoors. WOW, theres a lot of members here! So I found this site while bumping around on the internet, but you can also find me on ZR2zone and American Adventurist as Devil Dog Hog. Hope to make the community bigger and better and look forward to meeting you on the trails!

We have a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser.
This truck has a ton of miles on it and has a pretty interesting story that I'll do a nice write up on once i have a few more posts.
We bought this vehicle with the intent of getting into Overlanding.
We both loved camping when we were younger, however we both had different experiences that made us really not have any desire to continue once we were out on our own. Which looking back now seems foolish.

Living in Nebraska things are relatively flat.
It gets hilly as you go north of the platte river valley, and west from the missouri. But, the advantage I see is when you want to go to the mountains, or the west coast, or the east coast, you are already half way there.
We have many beautful state parks, and any serious off roading is only about 4-10 hours away so its not as bad as it could be.
We would love to live somewhere else but we are tied down here for family reasons for the time being.
I've been a fan of the OB youtube channel for some time now, and im glad to be part of the community.

Welcome to Overland Bound, @LimblessOverlander. You are in an incredible place for overlanding, wedged between the Tetons and Craters of the Moon. There are a Overland Bound members in your area, so I recommend checking out the Overland Bound Northwest Region forum [link] to get to know your who is nearby. Most of the activity in Southern Idaho is centered around the west side of the state, but you might want to keep an eye on the Rally Point system [link], as some of the events may be a close enough for you to attend.

I just moved back to where I grew up in the Bay Area, CA after a 6 year stint in New England. I recently transitioned from my 2010 F-150 to a 2019 Tacoma TRD OR and I am excited to get out there.
