Absolutely! I’m new to the idea of wheeling in the woods with lots of big rocks and crawls (my brother has a wrangler on 42s so he always does it) I’ve always been more overlanding and hiking/camping but the 4Runner (7 passenger) will let the whole family come along!

Here’s a picture of my T4R

Hey Everyone,

Noob here just trying to get into the world of overland. Also trying to get my fiancee motivated in joining me (shes not much of a camper unfortunately). Used to camp a lot when I was younger, and always really enjoyed a good off road trail whenever I had the opportunity to check one out. However I would consider myself a novice at this point. I'm currently driving a 2017 F150 Supercrew 4x4 short bed with the 2.7 ecoboost. It is basically stock, other than a set of Bilstein 5100s for the rear, and changed out all the stock halogen lights for LEDs. Eventually would like to level the front out with some more Bilsteins and add a set of BFG KO2s. No plans really to go too extreme since I do drive it on the daily and would like to keep some decent gas mileage. I live in Morgantown, WV, so if anyone is in the area and ever wants to meet up just let me know!!

Hi all.

Brand new, probably considered a poser by some since:
A) I have no rig yet
B) my vehicles are an Accord and a 2wd Pilot (yeah i messed up on that)
But! I’m in the planning stages of buying a Wrangler or 4Runner.

Location: Brentwood, CA (the Northern California one)

Expierence: novice, the boss has a Jeep, we’ve gone once. But camping and exploring are things I get!

View attachment 63367 Hello all

New to the site and looking forward to learning a lot. Wife and I are avid outdoors people, especially over landing. No worldwide adventures yet. Live in the southeast but spend a lot of time in the Southwest especially Utah. We’re always looking for great spots there.
Welcome to OB! I live in the southeast but planning some trips out west to Utah, Colorado, etc.

Nice Rig!! Great shape for a 99. :)

Thanks. That was back when it was my only vehicle. Since then the paint has been a little neglected but still good and still straight except for the one scrape where the slider should have been. My son is driving it now but I steal it every once in a while. Debating whether to sell the Jeep and and take back the 4Runner . Either way I should be good to get back to the trails pretty soon.
