Thanks Joel, the paint is original.(Currently 148k) That pic makes it look really good. The hood and roof are faded pretty bad and, of course, it has a good amount of pin striping.Welcome from NC. Your rig looks great, is that original paint job?

Yeah it looks amazing in the pic, mine is in the same boat as well. Looks good from 20 or so feet away, get close and then you see all the scratches and dings. Thanks Joel, the paint is original.(Currently 148k) That pic makes it look really good. Welcome to Overland Bound!Greetings all,
2)Born and raised in the bay area, and currently reside in Hayward, CA
3) 1987 4runner built it like a rock crawler but not with hardcore crawling in mind. 22re, duals, rock assaults, coil over front suspension, leaf's with bypass's in the rear, bumpers, cage,33s..... the list goes on.
4) Been wheeling all over for the past 15 years, still have a buggy for when I wanna get real jiggy. I just miss the yesteryear of driving my rig to the trail and having fun in general with it. Wanna check out more of the scenic non smash it up trails. Camping fishing and enjoying a ice cold beer.
Cheers

Welcome to Overland Bound!Hey everybody! Fred here! From San Diego and been wanting to really get into overlanding and just plain out having new adventures! Picked up a 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk that I'm currently heavily modifying and preparing for the trails. Hope to make new friends that I can possibly roll out with once I'm done with my preparations! My Instagram is t3hg3r if you'd like to see or follow my progressView attachment 107396

Future plans are to explore every back road/trail in North America.
I'll start with Ontario, this year, and open to suggestions.

Hello Kyle, welcome from Oklahoma. I enjoy spending time in Arkansas, it's very pretty.Novice overlander here. I've done atv trail riding and mudding my whole life here in Arkansas, but I just got my first jeep (2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk) and am much more interested in overlanding and camping over finding the deepest mud holes and biggest rocks to climb with this rig. I'm starting from scratch and it's going to be a slow build for me but I'm really looking forward to it.

Welcome to Overland Bound!Evan Heisler
Central Minnesota (deep in lake cabin country)
Only recently discovered overland and got the bug bad! Currently shopping for a rig…
Hi everyone, glad to have found this community! I love camping and getting outside and much as possible but over the last few years life has gotten in the way of much adventuring. Recently my partner and I were able to clear some major hurdles and are excited to actually get out and explore again. I used to own a '96 Tacoma but that has been my only truck. We recently made the decision to sell my beloved Audi Avant and buy a proper truck that can do the duty of a tow vehicle and adventure rig. Looking forward to learning and gaining inspiration from y'all.
