Hi everyone! Excited to be part of this group and learn as much as I can.
Ride: 2009 Subaru WRX (all systems go to purchase a Chevy ZR2 Bison in 2020 for REAL adventures)
Location: Knoxville TN currently, but the Rockies are calling my wife & I
I'm a life-long camper / fisherman / hiker and always loved cars. Growing up financially challenged, we repaired our vehicles out of necessity. Rally racing got my interests off the pavement, but as I've become a fan of survival tactics, ultra-light backpacking and planning to build a modern off-the-grid home in the mountains, we can't wait to get our outdoor loving 3/yo daughter overlanding and camping with us.

Hello everyone. I'm a retired truck driver from southeastern NM. Now I have the time to do things I couldn't when I was young enough to do them. And way too much time to think of new things to do to my rig.
Experience: I guess driving a truck 25+ years makes me an experienced overlander. I've always loved camping, hiking and seeing what's over the next hill.
Rig: 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. With...a few modifications.
My truck and ever faithful traveling companion/alarm system.

Newer member. Located near Omaha Nebraska. Started overlanding last summer and have learned a lot since. Made a trip to Colorado and South Dakota so far. I have a few trips planned this year and I am looking forward to getting out and exploring. My vehicle is a 2002 Supercharged Mercedes ML320 with a small lift and 32's. My project started getting more attention than I thought it would so I started a dedicated Instagram page @MercedesOvrLnd. Saving up for custom bumpers and some other small things but It has been a fun project!

Hi Everyone! Been a member for a while but don't think I have ever posted up in this new member introductions yet.

Wife’s drives a 2016 Subaru foster that might get some light mods if she decides to do it.

I am the owner of a fishing charter business called Bass Flats & Beyond. If anyone would like more info on that please ask.

I was really into off-roading and mud bogging in high school, but stepped away from all that to

Well, I recently retired from the Army after serving 20 years. My time in the Army was spent doing the things Army guys do.

I love the outdoors, and want to get back into the woods, travel, and appreciate some of the things I missed out on enjoying. If there are any service members out there, they may agree that military service can and will take the fun out of everything.

Just bought a 2019 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4. It's my daily driver that will serve as a overloading/ bug out vehicle. That being said my approach to modifying it will take some time. That being said, I recently bought a CBI truck bed cage from CBI Fabrication Off Road. It is going to take some time getting to me, once I have it I will be posting the video.

I have many passions, or it should be better said as interest. I feel that the Tacoma will tie many of those interests together. Taking photos, video drone, biking, and travel are just some of the many interest I have.

I live in Florida, and excited to be able to get out and enjoy the landscape, camp, travel, and explore.

Hello! Newbie from Lancaster, PA here. I have some experience with multi-day camping on foot, and got the bug when I did a roadtrip from PA to Florida and back hitting every state east of the Mississippi. I currently live in Bahrain, but I am looking to start on a rig when I get back. Thank you all for the opportunity to be a member of this forum!

Medium experience offroad. Being the midwest mostly offroad parks and some exploration.

Lots of camping experience from backpacking, bushcraft survival, car camping and RV'ing.

Looking to combine all I know and enjoy the outdoors some more while avoiding the tourist traps and crowds.

Hello everyone! some what of a newbie to the overland community. I have been four wheeling for years in built Jeeps on 5+ rated trails but I am becoming more and more interested in over landing as opposed to beating the crap out of a Jeep for the sake of seeing who can make it. I just purchased a 2004 Grand Cherokee Overland with low miles to start modifying.
