Where in Idaho? I went to college in Pocatello, so that state has a very fond place in my heart.
We landed in Boise. We drove out from the East Coast when we moved and entered Idaho on Rt30 to stop at Lava Hotsprings for a mid-drive soak. Then continued on west through Pocatello; it is a beautiful area. We need to go back out that way soon to explore Craters of the Moon.

Newb from Concord, NC here! Excited to learn more and start exploring in the Overland world!!! We currently have a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited, 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland, and a 1988 Dodge Ram W250 Power Ram - currently looking to make an Overland rig out of the Overland! Wanted to build up the 88 Ram, but my son has laid claim to it when he turns 16 in 10 years. That's still plenty of time though to possibly convert him from wanting a, "monster truck" - over to a world explorer rig instead!!!
Welcome from NC as well. Where do you normally ride in NC?

Hello Ladies and Gents.
My name is Justin and my friends call me Jay. I'm and outdoors-man and adventurer at heart. My hobbies are backpacking, hiking and wheeling offroad. I have a pretty capable rig. It's a 13 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and you can't miss it. It's Road Cone Orange. LOL.... I've got a 2.5" lift and wearing 33" KO2 ATs. I've got recovery equipment on the front and rear. It's my dream car. Jeep number 7 .... or 8 now. I'm very experienced off the paved road, and have been told I'm an excellent spotter. I live in Charlotte NC and on any weekend that I can make it, you will find me in the Appalachian Mountains. USMC vet during most of the OIF (02-07) and also lived in Africa for awhile. My father and I took the Orange Ruby on a great cross country trip which included a few overland adventures in there. I'm really not sure what elese I should put in here. LOL
Nice to meet you all and hope to see you soon.

Hi Everyone. I'm Justin from Boise Idaho. My rig at the moment is a 2013 JK with a custom trailer. Looking to sell it though since my wife and I are building out a 4x4 Sprinter.

How did the Sprinter 4x4 build go? I am wondering if it is one of the ones I have seen driving up and down Bogus Basin Rd.

Hey Everyone!

My Name is Sean, I am brand new to the overlanding community and am trying to get my feet wet with it. I live in central new jersey (Sandy Hook Area) and I am a huge car guy. I am a full time college student and I am studying Mechanical Engineering Technology at NJIT. I love working on cars in my freetime and am actually on a team at school that degigns and builds a mini Baja car that competes across the country. That being said I am a college student so budget is a very important thing. Right now my 2004 Ram 1500 is pretty much stock. But i am working on it slowly (Currently fabricating off-road winch capable bumpers). I have been a boy scout for many years and love everything about the outdoors From Quad and dirtbiker riding to fly fishing and camping.

Hope to be able to get out there and hit the trails soon!

1) 2) Location: I hop between York County, PA and York County, VA
3) Rig: 2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ)
4) Overlanding Experience Background: I’d have to say intermediate. I’ve done some trail running and some crawling. The military gave me a bunch of my experience.

Hello,

I've been registered for a couple months now but finally pulled the trigger on a membership. Looking to get into easy trails for the time being. Unfortunately I live in Ohio so it's pretty flat. Not as flat as the plains but any decent terrain doesn't have public trails. Looking for some guidance in terms of trails in surrounding states. IN, MI, KY, PA, and WV. Look forward to being more involved in the community!

Hello Overland bound!

I'm Frank, total novice when it comes to overlanding. Currently driving a 2016 Nissan Frontier that's pretty much bone stock. Been lurking around here for a few days, and figured I'd take the plunge and join.

Hi everyone here and a massive big up to the founder of OB and its unique state of mind. Writing those lines from Biarritz, France. A gorgeous area by the atlantic ocean and the Pyrenees mountains, where i love to ride solo on my old 1984 XT Tenere bike, or with my family in my Jeep Wrangler YJ for what we call our little great adventures. Exploring, learning, discovering. This is all about Mother Nature and jaw-dropping sceneries, and feeling part of it. Cheers everyone ! (can't wait to receive my emblems)
