Hi, all. We are Angie and Craig from Georgia, USA. We've camped in one form or another for 20 years. We currently drive a DIY camper on a Dodge RAM. Found out about OB when we ran into @Kent R somewhere in Idaho last year. ;)

Finally getting around to saying Hi.

Planning a trip to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland in the fall. Hope to glean some great ideas from this group! Cheers!
Hello and welcome to the OB family.

Good morning, thanks for the invite. I'm 62 years old and still working 60 hours a week. i plan on full time overland travel when i retire (soon i hope) Right now we go on 5 or 6 trips a year
2 of my 4 children, and 4 of my 9 grandchildren are involved in this endeavor with me,,, for about 6 years now.
i've had a few different rigs over those years, and i'm in the market for the next, after blowing up my jeep engine 06/15/24, enroute to Funnel Lake Ca.
started out with a little dodge dakota w/Rtt, then a JKU, from there, a power wagon, then back to a jeep.
i think i'm going back to a "full size" rig, but undecided on what just yet.
my oldest child is still running the old dakota (pictured with my jeep in Darwin, not far from darwin falls). my brother is involved as well . his little hilux with my power wagon. the jeep commander has (had) a big motor for a little rig, and factory front and rear lockers, but no ground clearance. . . . i also do long distance travel on a harley,, which is getting sold when i retire.
you are all caught up,,,, thanks for having me (us)

I've been rebuilding a salvaged Tocoma.
It's about ready for the road and the trails.
I'm looking for a RTT for the bedrack.
I'm looking forward to retirement in '26. I'm looking forward to being a full-time tourist.
Hello and welcome to the OB family.

Hello
I have been an explorer at heart and there is nothing more exciting than loading my vehicle up with gear and hitting a trail. I currently drive a 2016 jeep jku and i am slowly making my vehicle an overland vehicle.
I live in Western NY and It would not be uncommon for us to have horrible driving conditions in the winter. My vehicle is very capable in the winter but my goal is to make it very capable for all environments.

New guy here from Reno/Tahoe. Overlanding rig is a ‘23 RAM 4x4 diesel, decked out for camping, kayaking and fishing. Got the basics covered for shelter, power, air and water. Always take my two black labs with me so I invented a dog car seat and launched a new company. Currently at the PNW Overland Expo to showcase the product and probably buy a bunch of stuff I didn’t even know I needed… lol, that’s half the fun of overlanding!
