Welcome to Overland Bound DustinHello,
New member here to a degree I didn't introduce myself and have been lurking in the forum a bit.
I am located in KC, Kansas and enjoy getting out anywhere I can to explore. Unfortunately it is quite a long drive to get to public lands from where I live, but it's great adventure regardless.

Welcome To Overland BoundGreetings everyone! My wife and I are recently getting into overlanding; we were inspired to start outfitting our Tacoma during a camping trip when we watched someone with a rig break camp while we were still rolling up our bedding.
We're from the Triangle area in NC, and the rig's name is Sandy. Look forward to running into some of y'all on the trails!

Welcome to Overland Bound ChrisHi all,
Just joining this forum, but I've been a long term Hummer enthusiast.
Pinckney, MI
2000 H1 Hummer soft top
1992 H1 Hummer wagon
2021 Toyota 4Runner ORP
2022 Toyota 4Runner ORP
I'm not a novice, but not an expert. I've been "offroading" since 2000.. and camping and traveling around the US for longer than that. But we haven't done much really remote travel. Working my way up to the Australian Outback.
Thanks,
-Chris

Welcome to Overland BoundThanks for the add. I drive a 2003 Tacoma, live in California, and particularly enjoy the Death Valley and Owens Valley area. I'm looking forward to learning of new places to visit, and ideas to improve my off road experience.

Hello Marcus, Welcome to Overland Bound!Hey Everyone,
Newbiee to the Overlanding community.
I'm Marcus, Irish, living in the US for 7 years now. I currently own a 2016 Ford F150 Crew Cab FX4 (5.5') and the only modification I've made is add a Decked drawer system to the bed for camping equipment. I've also ordered a Leitner Forged rack for the bed which is on it's way.
I live in Berkeley California, have two young kids and would love to go on a basic ride to figure this stuff out.
My other passion is Adventure Motorcycle riding, but I have a weaker back these days, so riding around in the truck might be better.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
:)

Hello Reno! Welcome to Overland Bound! Super cool rigs you have!Hi guys and gals of the Overland Bound universe!

2) So we are Africa based at the moment. Kenya is home but we are half way through our journey to the southern tip of the continent, so i guess Malawi works
3) Rig - Lets bring out the big guns for this one - Piaggio Ape auto DX and Piaggio Ape Extra DX - 8.5hp of pure diesel power
4) Overlanding experience is pretty good, but nothing really prepares you for offroading in a tuk tuk

Welcome to Overland Bound, Will! Nice to have you. Sounds like a good setup! You’ll love it here. Lots of knowledgeable members and guests! Will here from Southern Oregon. I grew up out here wheeling and camping like most. Spent a bit of time in the Navy and later enlisted in the Army. My time in the Army was mostly spent on a "mobility team". My team moved around on snow machines, ATV's, and all sorts of trucks.
My family currently moves around in the wild via a 2010 Raptor with one of the first gas guzzling 6.2L. Right now we are expanding into a trailer set up so the furry family can cruise with us.
Glad to be here and looking forward to the adventure.
