Hi everyone, new member as is the way of this thread!

I'm Daniel and live in the Norcal area. I've been a long time outdoors person, but never truly got out where no one travels.

I've only recently discovered overlanding and how to really get completely off the grid. I can't wait to meet up with more like minded people and learn the ins and outs of this way of life.
I just recently bought a new truck that I've begun outfitting and can't wait to get it off the pavement.

Hello! My name is Josh and I live in Missouri. I’ve been camping, hiking, skiing, backpacking and generally being outdoors most of my life. What I used to call “car camping” has evolved into “overlanding”. I’m also a classic Jeep guy (think AMC-era CJ’s, Wagoneer’s, and Cherokee’s) however I’ve spent time building Wranglers too. My latest addition to my Jeep fleet is a 2014 JKU Rubicon that is well built for going anywhere I’m interested in heading. I’m currently shopping for my first “overlanding trailer” to pull behind it. I hope to update my camping/overlanding kit and possibly meet up and do some trips with some like-minded folks!

Hello everyone I'm Sean.
I'm like in between a novice and Experience. Have some off road time but no pro.
Outdoor enthusiast
And extreme passion for motorsports. Have installed many accessories on p.o.v's for all kinds of off roaders. I also teach wilderness survival skills.
I'm live in Virginia, and currently working on a 2007 Chevy Avalanche that I'm building to suit mine and family needs in overlanding and other outdoor adventures. I'm also a licensed ham radio technician. So can help with radio question. Also. ASE certified technician. But I will tell you I don't know everything but will help out when I can. Hopeing to learn new things and techniques. I'm a firm believer that everyone has something to bring to the table that we all can learn from.

New guy here.
Name is Vance, I live in Kenai Alaska, & have been playing around with offroad vehichles and overlanding (I think before it was called "overlanding) since I turned 16 in 1966 in south eastern Oregon.
Current main overland rig & daily driver is a 2011 Xterra Pro4X. Mostly stock but will be installing a lift & fabricating bumpers, rack, sliders, etc soon.

Hello all,
New to the forum, but, not the outdoors. I am admittedly not to the overlanding concept, as most of my experience lies in primitive camping, that we hiked to more often than not. I am from the Waco, Texas area, originally from Houston. I own a 2012 ram 1500 sport crew cab hemi 4wd, generally stuck at the moment. I’m looking forward to meeting some great folks, and learning more about overlanding, and take the family out on some trips.

Thank you for the welcome, and the information. I managed to stumble across the events page during a minor moment of insomnia last night, and noticed the meet on June 6. I might try to get down there, if the wife wants to go. I will definitely check out the links you shared, and see what kind of trouble, err, fun I can get into.
