I would love to have a G550 here in the states, but they are still to proud of them. You can buy a really nice YOTA for the price of a really old G. Just love the look of these things.

Irony is, I was into yota's due to their reliability and cheap service but here in Germany, they are way too expensive.

Glad you are here, there’s a number of people from the Santa Cruz/Boulder Creek area. I am the Bay Area member rep and I can help connect you to meet ups that are happening near you. In Pleasanton CA there is a meet up on the second Sunday’s of the month and it has a great regular turn out and active. The Tri-Valley (Pleasanton) group has number of plans already laid out for June through December. Our next meet up will be October 11th, 1-3pm. Hello! I am excited to join this adventurous community. I drive a 2014 FJ Cruiser, and have just started the process of getting it kitted out for camping and overlanding, both with my family and further photographic adventures without. I live in Leesburg, Virginia, but grew up learning about off-roading all over the Southwest in my first vehicle, a 1946 Willys CJ-2A. Retired military / helicopter pilot, so I know how to get into plenty of trouble.
