Aviator here new to site.
Wanting to build a F250 diesel and wondering about thoughts on this type of truck for across continent trips
Welcome Aviator, I used an old Ford F-350 quad cab dually to explore central Texas. It was huge, but for the stuff I did out there, it was a great choice. I eventually downsized to a F150 extended cab just for the size reasons, but again very doable. my brother uses a 2015 F150 to navigate a crossed the US.

Hello everyone, I'm Kellon. I don't really know if I'd even call myself an overlander at this point. I just got my license in November and bought a 1996 2wd Tacoma for my first truck. I love camping and I love driving so I figured why not pretend my 2wd is a 4wd and my 14s are 33s.:grinning:
Don’t worry about the 2wd or the 14s. That little pickup will go pretty well on Forest service roads. Glad to have you join the group. Feel free to join us on our monthly conference call on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Monthly conference call I look forward to meeting you and seeing you on the trail.

I’m just getting back into off-roading and am looking to build a Foxtail camper. I just sold my 40’ long, bumper pull toyhauler which I enjoyed. However, as I have put some years on I have decided to downsize. Am currently in process of selling my Ford dually. I had a CJ 8 Scrambler years ago. this was Jeep’s version of a pickup before the current Gladiator craze. Looking at 4 door Jeeps which currently, finally get decent gas mileage. Been stalking around on here looking for ideas and have seen some great stuff. Look forward to picking some brains for ways to do a cheap, reliable off-road trailer.

Just joined up and look forward to this adventure! We are from the foothills of NC, better known as "Mayberry"! Our rig is a 2000 Nissan Xterra 1st Gen that we have been outfitting for a couple years and a slow process. We love taking trips, camping and enjoying the outdoors!

Hi all!

Sam here. I'm a college senior looking forward to taking advantage of long weekends this semester for some adventures in the Southeast Region. But the main reason I'm joining the OB Community is to get tips, tricks, and planning advice for a ~2 month long cross country graduation trip next summer.

Location: Atlanta, GA
Rig: 2014 Wrangler Unlimited Sport w/ RTT
Experience: YouTube! also lots of car camping, road trips, hiking, and some backpacking. New to off-road driving, just looking for the next step beyond a maintained dirt road.
