My husband and I are in the Northern Dallas area and just started our Overland hobby. We're slowly updating a '97 Lexus LX and have taken one mini trip into Oklahoma so far. Super excited to be a part of the community!

Thank you PreRunner! We're wanting to check out the OK Adventure Trail soon. Do you know if it's pretty easy to find a place to camp around the south western portion?

Probably the Doris Campground west/SW of Mt. Scott near the Quanah Parker Lake.
Foss State Park is just north of I-40 but is about 37 miles east of where the OAT meets I-40 in Sayre.

:-) Hello from McKinney, TX! We're a newb as well. Can't wait to get started either. We have to wait till school starts and we go back to work to buy a new Toyota Tacoma Off Road... but we can do some local camping to get acclimated to the Roof Top Tent and figure out what we need going forward.
